Our journey began with Spike, a former material development engineer at BYD, the world’s largest battery company. After nine years of working with cutting-edge technology, Spike discovered his true calling one serendipitous day when he stumbled upon his first electric skateboard. From that moment on, he was captivated by the freedom and exhilaration that came with riding.
However, Spike quickly realized that the electric skateboards on the market had significant limitations. The batteries didn’t last long enough, the decks were uncomfortable, and the motors lacked power. As an engineer and a passionate rider, Spike knew he could create something better. He envisioned an electric skateboard that combined advanced technology with thoughtful design, making it accessible to everyone.
